Did you know that here at Sam Joseph Chocolates, we handcraft our own marshmallows? šāāļøšāāļø While some might already be in the know, many might not be aware of this delightful secret ā and we're excited to share it with you!
Unlike many cafes and coffee shops that opt for mass-produced marshmallows, we take pride in creating our own. We believe that if we're dedicated to serving the finest hot chocolate, the marshmallows should be just as exceptional.
Our process begins with whipped egg whites, aerated to perfection. Then, a blend of hot sugar syrup and gelatine is carefully poured over the whites as they continue to blend, resulting in a fluffy, delightful mixture. Once cooled, the mixture is spread into trays to set before being expertly cut.
One of the perks of crafting our marshmallows in-house? We get to decide on the size ā and we prefer ours big and fluffy! š
